14MZ Radio System FAQ
I am updating my 14MZ, but I see some files named T12mz, should I delete these and I am not sure what files to put on the CF card.
Below I have shown how the files should be arranged, all of these should be put on your CF card. Also while these T12mz files may be named differently, they are still needed for your 14MZ update.
All files must be shown as below on your card. You do not have to remove any of the extraneous files such as WAV, BMP, etc before using this update as your radio installs these automatically, but you may want to remove any models or pictures, to help speed the process of updating first. Remember it must be configured as below to be able to update.
The update for the 14MZ MUST be configured in this order to work correctly. The following is how they should appear when unzipped.
Click UPDATE folder, you should see a folder named 0 (zero)
Click 0 folder, you should see five files:
Genm2329.CDE
Genw2329.CDE
T14MZ.abx
T14MZ
uGen2329.CDE
